Sick. pictures.

Over the weekend plus Monday and Tuesday I was home with a cold. Staying at home doing nothing makes me feel worthless, so I would get up and try to do something around the house. But on Sunday… I did nothing and stayed in bed all day. Monday I did get up but… till 1pm to eat and clean a bit, because if I was going to be stuck in my room, I wanted to be stuck in a clean room.  Tuesday I felt a bit better… I made it to class in the evening… which is very important to me. Psychology is no joke… I need my notes for all exams, so I can’t miss a class… so many terms but I love that class, I have the best teacher ever. He makes sense of each term which the perfect scenario.  

These are some of the pictures I took while I was stuck at home sick for basically 3 days. I took regular pictures and use instagram to make them look sort of retro. 

Bringing back some of these styles and retro looks is absolutely brilliant.

BAD NEWS!!!

So yesterday at work we all got an email stating we had a meeting with the boss at 4pm. We were all joking around that we were getting raises or we came up w/ theories that some of us were in trouble or getting lectures on being more discreet with our files. Then our boss told us that almost half of our staff was going to be laid off. It shocked me at first that I didn’t know what to think. Then minutes later I realized OMG I might be without a job soon. We’re not sure who’s getting laid off yet. We will find out in a week or so. I have been working at my job for four and half years. I been working for a non-profit since I was 17 and I have not really picture myself doing anything else. I’m heartbroken not only because I’m might be losing my job but my co-workers will too. It’s like my work family will be moving out. I love my job and I love my co-workers. So even if I was not losing my job it hurts to know that I might not be working with some of them.
